A person has diverse qualities and you can like a person for different reasons. After reading reports and listening to various opinions of the public, we can identify why they like Narendra Modi and divide them into different groups based on their reasons.

Some people like him for their Hindutva agenda but even if Narendra Modi is not there, someone else will carry forward the Hindutva agenda. Like L K Advani had carried it until 2014.

Some people like him because of his pro-business policy(neoliberalism policy) which minimizes the role of Government in the economy and maximizes the role of private players. But it is the policy of the party that even if Narendra Modi was not there, someone else would fulfil that. Like the Policy of A B Vajpayee in the NDA Government.

Because of the "Labharthi yojana" Since we call ourselves a welfare state, every party brings schemes regarding this. So, the BJP is not different to others.

Since India is an independent country. So, every political party is nationalist. Types vary from party to party. Congress is following civic nationalism and the BJP is following ethnic religious nationalism.

People believe that India has become a developed “Vishwa Guru” under the leadership of Narendra Modi and India is leading the world.

But what makes Narendra Modi unique is his strong man image, corruption-free image, who can make strong decisions whom people can trust. But do Indian people like authoritarian leaders? One of the reasons for that is their upbringing. the structure of the Indian family is authoritarian and hierarchical, where at the top of the ladder is the 'Father' who makes decisions. And it is a general understanding that he should play the role of protector in the family, in some families this role is played by mothers or other family members. But largely this role is played by Father. Children from this kind of family are looking for the protector of the society or nation when they grow up. these people don't believe in the democratic mode of decision-making.

It is also possible that people like him for one, two or for all the reasons and for them Modi is a full Package deal.
