Two institutions which we often think, it is natural for human living, that is family and state. If we compare state and family, except for the legitimate power of violence both have some similarities. Family is also using violence but their violence is latent and illegitimate. we all want as an individual the Power and influence of our family and state should Grow, if not at least it should maintain the status quo. We do not want any kind of interference in our internal matters, which means we do not want to compromise our sovereignty. states compromise their sovereignty in the International System and families compromise their sovereignty in the nation-state, the state system.

For the States, the important things are Sovereignty, Territory, security and Power, and Influence. For families too, sovereignty is the most important thing and the other important things are honor, territory, security, Power, and Influence.

In other words, their existence matters more than anything for the Family and states, and the individuals who create this system for their comfort and happiness, do not matter at all. we don't know when our 'ways' become the 'means'.
