Today is the Krishna Janmashtami and we love and commemorate Krishna's birthday. For many centuries a story we have been told about Krishna's preachings is that “do your job and do not worry about the results". We have the right to do our duty, but the results are not dependent only upon our efforts. A number of factors come into play in determining the results—our efforts, destiny (our past karmas), the will of God, the efforts of others, the cumulative karmas of the people involved, the place and situation (a matter of luck), etc. This teaching is taken from the Gita.

रो बनाम वेड : सुप्रीम कोर्ट नें 6-3 से पलटा अपना ऐतिहासिक फैसला, महिला अधिकारों के लिए काला दिन
अमेरिकी सुप्रीम कोर्ट ने रो बनाम वेड के 1973 में दिए अपने ऐतिहासिक फैसले को 6-3 के बहुमत से पलट दिया है। रो बनाम वेड केस के बाद अमेरिका में महिलाओं को गर्भपात कराने की अनुमति मिली थी। इस फैसले के बाद कोई भी राज्य गर्भपात को प्रतिबंधित करने वाला कानून नही बना सकता था। यही वो शक्ति का स्रोत था ,जो महिला को अपने शरीर के संबंध में निर्णय लेने की आजादी देता था। वो बच्चे को जन्म देना चाहती है या गर्भपात कराना चाहती हैं ,ये सिर्फ व सिर्फ महिला का फैसला होता था। इससे मेरा शरीर , मेरा अधिकार की भावना का विकास हुआ था।

बदलते समय के साथ हमारे समाज में कई तरह के बदलाव आए हैं। जिसमें परिवार और रिश्तों की प्रकृति में परिवर्तन देखने को मिले हैं। जहां ग्रामीण और कृषक समाज में संयुक्त परिवार का चलन था। वहीं शहरी और औद्योगिक समाज में एकल परिवार का प्रचलन बढ़ रहा है। जिसका असर पति-पत्नी के रिश्तों पर दिख रहा है। जब घरेलू कामकाज , बच्चों के लालन -पालन और माता - पिता की देखभाल को लेकर दंपतियों के बीच झगड़े होते हैं।इनके बीच बढ़ते विवादों से बच्चों की मानसिक स्थिति पर भी प्रभाव पड़ता है। घर के कामकाज का भार सदियों से घर की महिलाओं पर ही रहा है, लेकिन बदलते परिदृश्य के साथ महिला भी घर से बाहर निकल कर काम कर रही है। वो दिन बीत गए, जब यह माना जाता था कि पैसे कमाने का काम पुरुष का है और घर और बच्चों को संभालने की ज़िम्मेदारी महिलाओं की है।

घटते रोजगार के बीच बढ़ती सांप्रदायिक हिंसा
सेंटर फॉर मॉनिटरिंग इंडियन इकॉनमी की हालिया रिपोर्ट बताती है कि भारत में रोजगार की समस्या लगातार बढ़ती जा रही है। रोजगार ना मिल पाने और मिलने की उम्मीद भी ना रहने के कारण अब बहुत सारे युवाओं ने रोजगार की तलाश ही छोड़ दी है। बीते 5 सालों में 2.1 करोड़ जॉब घटे हैं। वहीं अगर रोजगार तलाश करने वालों की बात करें तो 45 करोड़ लोगों ने रोजगार ढूंढना ही छोड़ दिया है। कामगारों की संख्या वर्ष 2017 में 46% थी जो अब घटकर 40% रह गई है। युवा आबादी होने के कारण भारत में 90 करोड़ लोग रोजगार के योग्य हैं। लेकिन क्या कारण है कि युवा आबादी निराशा की ओर जा रही है? एक तरफ यह रिपोर्ट है वहीं दूसरी तरफ यह भी बात सामने निकल कर आ रही है कि इंडस्ट्री को काम करने वाले नहीं मिल रहे हैं। यानी इंडस्ट्री को वर्कर चाहिए और वर्कर को काम लेकिन स्किल 'मैच' नहीं करने के कारण 'मिसमैच' की स्थिति पैदा हो रही है।

'अग्निपथ योजना ' आखिर क्यों बीजेपी बेफिक्र नजर आ रही है?
पिछले कुछ वर्षों में देश ने कई सारे विरोध प्रदर्शन देखने को मिले हैं। इनमें से कुछ तो देशव्यापी और काफी बड़े भी रहे हैं। इनमें से कुछ मुद्दों के नाम उल्लेखनीय है। 2015 में लाए गए भूमि अधिग्रहण अध्यादेश, 2016 की नोटबंदी, 2017 में जीएसटी, 2018 में एससी एसटी कानून को लेकर किया जाने वाला प्रदर्शन,और इसके विरोध में सवर्ण का प्रदर्शन, 2019 में धारा 370 और नागरिकता कानून, 2020 में लाई गई कृषि कानून ,और अभी लाई गई अग्निपथ योजना, इन तमाम मुद्दों पर देश भर में बड़े आंदोलन देखने को मिलें। इसके अलावा आरक्षण को लेकर भी बड़े विरोध प्रदर्शन देखने को मिलें। गुजरात के पटेल समुदाय का मामला हो या महाराष्ट्र के मराठा समुदाय का मामला।

वर्षों से हम डार्विन द्वारा दिए गए उसी सिद्धांत को मानते आए हैं ,जिसमें कहा जाता है कि पुरुष* महिला* को आकर्षित करने के लिए तरह - तरह की तरकीबें करते हैं। आपस में लड़ते हैं और एक से ज्यादा महिला के साथ संबंध बनाते हैं यानी व्‍यभिचार करते हैं। एक वाक्य में कहा जाए तो, पुरुष सेक्शुअली रूप से सक्रिय व बहुविवाही(polygamous) होते हैं। जबकि महिला के बारे में कहा जाता है कि वह सेक्शुअली रूप से निष्क्रिय और एकविवाही (monogamous) होती है। लूसी कूक ने अपनी किताब 'बीच'(BITCH) में इसे पूरी तरह से खारिज किया है और लिखा है, कि सिर्फ 7% प्रजाति ही मोनोगेमस होती है यानी बचे 93% प्रजाति में एक से अधिक जीवो के साथ सेक्शुअली संबंध बनाने की प्रवृत्ति पाई जाती है। वो लिखती हैं कि बारबरी मैकाक्स से लेकर नीले टीट्स तक, सब कई भागीदारों के साथ संबंध बनाना चाहते हैं।उदाहरण के लिए, एक मादा शेर, ओस्टर के दौरान दिन में 100 से ज्यादा नर शेर के साथ संबंध बना सकती है।मेडागास्कर की पूंछ वाले लेमर और कलाहारी की मरकट जो अपने प्रतिद्वंद्वियों की नारियों को मार देती हैं।यह स्त्री के सत्तावादी चरित्र को दिखाता है और ये बताता की समाज में स्त्री की भूमिका निष्क्रिय (passive) नहीं होती।
